Moso bamboo is a renewable, low-carbon building material that has been widely used in Asia, Latin America and Africa since ancient times. Since the 1990s, laminated bamboo products have gradually been used as building structural components. After more than 30 years of development, laminated bamboo products have been standardized and modernized while maintaining ecological sustainability.
ISO 7567:2024 specifies the manufacturing requirements for structural bamboo glulam products. This standard is the world's first international standard for structural bamboo glulam products and a major achievement of international cooperation. The standard was approved in October 2021. During the epidemic, the ISO/TC165 Bamboo Structure Working Group (WG12) experts and corporate partners provided strong support, and the standard moved forward steadily.
