Step-by-Step Installation

Install

Option 1: Clip Installation

1.  Identify Board Surfaces: Determine which side is the reeded surface and which is the flat surface.

2.  Select Fasteners: Use the provided clips or other suitable fastening systems.

3.  Position Clip: Insert the fastener into the groove side of a decking board.

4.  Secure Clip & Board: Drive the screw through the fastener and into the sub-beam below.

5.  Fastener Spacing: Plan for approximately 20, 17, or 14 fasteners per square meter, depending on whether the boards are 178mm, 155mm, or 137mm wide. When connecting the tongue-and-groove joint directly over a sub-beam, use 2 fasteners – one for each board involved.

6.  Required Hardware: Only install using the included stainless steel decking screws (4.5x30mm).

Option 2: Screw Down Installation

1. Identify Board Surfaces & Prepare: Determine the reeded or flat surface side. Before screwing, pre-drill holes 20mm from the board's edge using a sufficiently large drill bit to prevent the wood from splitting.

2. Secure Both Sides: Always drive screws through both the left and right sides of each board.

3. Required Hardware: Use stainless steel decking screws (5x50mm) for installation.
